Chace Crawford Takes the Lead Role in "Footloose" Remake

The classic movie “Footloose” debuted in 1984 and featured acting legends such as Kevin Bacon, John Lithgow, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Chris Penn.

“Footloose” is a classic tale about a rebellious teenager who moves to a small town where dancing and rock music have been banned.

Dancing teen heartthrob Zac Efron, originally cast to play the star role, turned down the opportunity. He has now been replaced by his lookalike, Chace Crawford.
