Innovative initiatives like that of Kwik Fit, a UK auto servicing company that recently started hosting tire workout classes in its garages, prove that the wellness movement-inspired interest in fitness can be used as a point of relatability across industries.

As stores redesign their in-store experiences to satisfy the desire of modern consumers, many are even taking event space into consideration during the design process. The new Oiselle flagship store in Seattle boasts an innovative clothing rack system that can be elevated to the ceiling using a hand crank to create floor space for hosting in-store fitness classes and other events.
