With the design of high-end boutique hotels like the Delano Hotel in South Beach and the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles, you might not think of Philippe Starck as the kind of designer that would create a flyswatter. But one look at the face imprinted on Starck’s flyswatter, and his signature whimsy amid functionality are clearly seen.
