Removing Identity, from Masked Editorials to Faceless Models

First it was supermodels, then it was celebrities, now faceless models are the icons du jour. This cluster offers a look at some of the fashion campaigns, runways and editorials that have opted for this mysterious, intriguing and slightly freaky representation. Two upsides of faceless models (whether heads don’t show or are covered with masks) are that 1) they could be anyone, including you and 2) they’re cheap, because they don’t need to be anyone famous.
