After reading about Katie Holmes’ herbal detox diet to supposedly prepare for the conception of she and Tom Cruise’s second child, I thought another day, another diet. It feels like nearly every celebrity has their own tried-and-true way of keeping the pounds off. Madonna is known to stick to a strict organic diet, while Megan Fox swears by drinking water spiked with apple cider vinegar.

Katie Holmes’ diet is said to consist of herbal detox drinks and a purification procedure. Is it the infamous Master Cleanse that helped Beyonce shed 20 pounds for her role in “Dreamgirls”? Check out some other bizarre diets below.
