The Obamas are the darlings of the fashion world this January and are expected to bring back excitement to the White House for fashionistas. Unfortunately, the website selling Inauguration Day stuff is pretty lame. Tee shirts? A Scarf? A couple of bags?

Obama followers can do better than this via Spreadshirt.com or the Franklin Mint Commemorative Plates. Huge names in design like DVF, Zac Posen and Alexander Wang have designed pieces to commemorate the event. If they have such enthusiasm, let’s see it in their designs for this historic day.
