When Brooke Burke won Dancing With the Stars, she and her partner Derek Hough were awarded with two dazzling disco ball trophies. A little tacky, but fitting considering the theme of the reality show. It’s actually not that peculiar when you think of modern pop culture either because disco has actually made a huge revival as of late.
The new-found interest in dance has been largely fueled by shows like Dancing With the Stars, which captivated audiences with contestants like Brooke Burke, openly gay Lance Bass and 82 year old Cloris Leachman last season, proving dance truly can be for everyone.
