Teen pregnancy has had the ‘taboo’ spell cast all over it. Teen girls are not supposed to get pregnant, but let’s face it - it happens and you can see it happening all over the media. Including teen pregnancies from the likes of Jamie-Lynn Spears to hypersexualized advertisements to teen pregnancy shows, there’s no doubt that this hot topic and hypersexualized teens in general are becoming sensationalized and even glamorized.

Of course, it doesn’t come without its share of scrutiny as seen with Bristol Palin and her recent debut on this season’s ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ But why the obsession?
