The Obama support is still going strong in the world of fashion and celebrities. Beyonce, who is featured on the cover of the new issue of V Magazine, flaunts the surname of Barack Obama manicured on her fingernails. 

In fact Beyonce arrived at the Bruce Weber shoot wearing an Obama T-shirt, but wanted to take a little Obama love into the images themselves.

V Magazine was already being printed when Obama was elected president, so editor in chief Stephen Gan commissioned 50,000 “Obama’s in the House” red, white and blue stickers to be printed an attached to the magazine covers to show their love and support.

I could never see the "political" fingernails this trend is talking about. I still can't. When I click on the thumbnail, all I can see are black spots on her nails. I'm sure there must be something I'm missing. But the trend did very well numbers wise.

It's there, at least according to WWD, she had his surname 'Obama' on her fingernails (maybe not all fingers?). I think it's hard to see it on a not so high-quality scan. Yeah, the trend did great in numbers thanks to some link love by 'Pink is The New Blog' which linked to this story.
