From Diminutive Dog Typography to Mountainous Language Art

Learning the alphabet does not generally stir up ideas of creative artwork and compelling graphics; however, as seen from these alternative alphabetic fonts, typography lends itself beautifully to a variety of captivating designs. For those who are fascinated rather than scarred by the ghouls and monsters under the bed, the frightening and grotesque alphabets would make for a delightful way to learn one's ABCs.

Alternative and hipster-inspired apparel has drawn inspiration from typographic arts, as witnessed by the jewelry and furniture designs that incorporate letters into their composition.

As a gamer and sci-fi aficionado, my personal favorite is the Epic Alien Alphabet, which tests one's Star Wars trivia through letter-oriented association.
