Increasingly we're seeing new 'smart' technology and 'intelligent' designs on the market. These innovations point toward a societal desire for more automation, and for more understanding for human needs.

The cluster below highlights a few of the 'smart' and 'intelligent' products we've featured on Trend Hunter, all of which are designed to make day to day living easier, ideally to free up time to focus on more important things.

Implications - Many of these 'intelligent' innovations have taken an increased importance in the last few years since the recession put many people out of work and left many struggling to keep their jobs. With most consumers desperate to spend more of their time at work, or working on ideas that would be appreciated in the office, these innovations are a divine intervention for the mundane activities that eat up time spent at home.
