X-ray technology has moved well beyond its original use as a medical diagnostic tool. Its most popular non-medical application is in airport security, where luggage is quickly scanned for contraband. However, the latest innovation for screening passengers themselves will be unnervingly be like being viewed without your clothes on!

X-ray art includes body paint which reveals what is inside you. There is also an amazing photographer who takes X-ray pictures showing the innards of objects as well as people in tractors and buses—the secret is one corpse and some clever Photoshop work to multiply the images accordingly.

Then there is skeletal haute couture and a project that lets you see through walls, just as this cluster lets you see through the world revealed by X-rays.
