Implications - Parisian style has always been something fashionistas crave and designers look to for inspiration, but now, more than ever, French-inspired fashions are taking over the runways and are even appearing at mass retailers like Target. Using Parisian chic as the foundation for design, designers can infuse a sophistication and polish that styles influenced by other cultures and cities don't always possess. While the previous years saw style mavens flocking to rebellious punk-rock styles and the like, 2012 sees a new direction in classics and conservatism, both of which fit right in line with the Parisian aesthetic.
