Designers apply stunning visual effects to clothing
Implications - Graphic prints have always been beloved by the fashion masses, and now, more designers are taking graphics to the next level with eye-catching visual effects and illusions. Some are over-the-top and bizarre, while other designs showcase subtle optical illusions that are wearable for the day-to-day. This kind of trompe l'oeil design, which was popularized by Italian fashion designer Elsa Shiaparelli in the late '20s and early '30s, is making its way onto everything from leggings to full pantsuits, giving fashionistas another way to stand out and make a style statement.
