The family unit receives attention again in imagery and marketing
Implications - Perhaps in part due to the changing structure of the family unit over the last 50 years, there has been more of a focus on independence and individuality in art and marketing. Increasingly, however, families and familial themes are being featured in imagery, indicating a reversion back to family values and relationships, whether it's the traditional nuclear family or the modern-day extended family or single parent household.
