Implications - In recent years, fashion stayed in safe, comfortable territory. Designs appealed to consumers who wanted items that were easily transferable to everyday living. Now, however, more designers are once again experimenting with exaggerated and over-the-top looks, creating pieces that exceed natural lengths and heights to capture attention.
