Social good is increasingly powered by crowdsourced campaigns
Implications - What one person can do, many can do better—this is the idea behind crowdsourced social good initiatives, in which non-profits are seeking help for their causes via collaborative and social networks. By building an army of do-gooders through crowdsourcing initiatives, traditional social causes can be magnified; rather than simply asking people for donations and the like, these initiatives, instead, ask consumers to “come together” to do their part.
