Implications - It's human nature to want to look and feel younger, and what says youth better than lollipops, cotton candy and bubble gum? Fashion is embracing candy as a source of inspiration, with designers creating apparel centered on pastel palettes and sweet, youthful designs, while magazines showcase candy-themed and youthful editorials. Our continual search for the fountain of youth is one that brands have long taken advantage of; however, introducing sweet imagery such as this offers a less direct approach that fashion consumers are more likely to embrace.
