Bomb-inspired designs offer flippant distraction from societal fears
Implications - More than any other weapon, bombs are being reinterpreted into playful products and designs for mass consumption. Bombs in particular have been associated with terrorism, and re-imagining them into lighthearted, everyday products such as alarm clocks, planters and USB flash drives stand to alleviate anxiety and cause members of society to take a step back from their fears.
