Implications - It's evident that consumers respond well to cute imagery, which is why advertisements featuring cute babies are so popular. One of the most notable ads of all time is Evian's 2009 commercial featuring rollerskating babies; this kicked off a slew of ads themed on infants, making them now a common part of the advertising game. Babies are used in ads for all kinds of products, from insurance and clothing to mattresses and motorcycles, and -- unless consumers suddenly stop thinking they're cute -- brands are unlikely to stop.
