If you’re slightly distracted by the whimsical living room fort in these photos, shift your gaze to the Zwol Pendant Lamps in the foreground. Crafted by the same design team as the fantastic structure in the back, these light fixtures have their own delightful quirkiness about them.

They look factory mass-produced but the hanging lights are actually molded by hand out of Acrylic One. They hang simply from their electrical cords and its the lightbulb coverings that make these Stal Collectief creations especially worthy of note.

Not metal nor plastic, the cage that covers the Zwol Pendant Lamp has actually been made of laser-cut birch plywood. This unexpected design decision expresses a lovely natural quality to such a seemingly industrial object.
