Dripped Classical Street Art
Kilmany-Jo Liversage’s Art Series at Worldart Gallery is Classi

By: Charl Bezuidenhout (Rookie) Jul 2, 13

The Kilmany-Jo Liversage art series mixes graffiti and classic portraiture to bring a creative classical street art blend.

Using acrylic and spray paint on canvas, Kilmany-Jo Liversage’s beautiful portraits are instantly eye-catching and her urban art form portrays strong elements of classical and street art.  For example, the Misako Teah portrait’s use of graffiti makes for a colorful array of tags mixed over consistent patterns that look like leaves. The paint drip effect on the left-upper side of the painting adds wonderful character to the painting’s street art styles.

The portrait is currently exhibited at the Worldart Gallery in Cape Town, South Africa and can be bought on the artist’s site.
