On average, people consume approximately 1,000 calories per plate on Christmas day, with most of those coming from the holiday feast itself. With so many extra calories and constantly broken New Year’s resolutions, working off Christmas meals may seem like a long, never-ending task too.
According to the How to Work Off Your Christmas dinner infographic, it only takes around five hours of Wii Bowling, four and a half hours of Xbox 360 Kinect Adventures or ten hours of ironing to burn off those greasy pounds. While these at home exercises are convenient, allowing people to do them whenever they desire, they are definitely not as efficient or effective as hitting the gym or taking up some new sports, which would burn at exponentially faster.
