Wine and chocolate are a heavenly combo, so why not pair them together? Two luxurious companies who make tasty creations combined their talents to create one epic collaboration. An Inniskillin winemaker, Inniskillin Estate Chef and SOMA Chocolatier all came together for an evening of fine Canadian creations.
Guests enjoyed cocoa cured duck breast, pulled pork sliders with red wine chocolate BBQ sauce and celeriac soup with porcini mayan chocolate dust. Also (as if your mouth isn’t watering enough already) each chocolate-infused dish was paired with a delicious Inniskillin wine including pinot noirs, a cabernet franc and an oak aged chardonnay. The collaboration was electric and the food combinations to die for.
Wine and chocolate are two vices of many and when the two come together like SOMA and Inniskillin have, it’s nearly irresistible.
