Acclaimed chocolatier William Curley made the world’s most expensive chocolate Easter egg priced at $10,000 for this past 2012 holiday. It’s not bedazzled with diamonds or crystals, but filled with the best chocolate in the world—even the Easter bunny is sure to turn green with envy. The London-based chocolate-maker sold the enormous 110-pound egg to Cyrus Vandrevala, a technology investor.
It’s made with award-winning chocolate and ingredients such as muscovado caramel, rosemary and olive oil, Japanese black vinegar, toasted sesame, juniper berry and cassis. It also comes with edible gold flakes to make it just that much more presentable. A lot of sweat and work was put into this oversized egg, which took three days to hand-make.
