By: Alexander Lam (Star) Jul 12, 13

A series of clever illustrations entitled ‘You Are What You Ride’ by French artists Thomas Pomarelle and Romain Bourdieux features bike designs based on identities. Each illustration has a different bike design that accurately pairs with a certain type of person. By customizing the design of each bike, Pomarelle and Bourdieux were able to convey an extended range of personalities and identities.

You Are What You Ride has various custom frames and wheels to match both stylistic and functional needs. Bikes were made to meet the lifestyle needs of people who identify with groups like gangsters, hipsters and runners. As a result, anyone browsing through the quirky designs can easily find the perfect bike with minimal effort
