The Vintage Jaguar Bookcase is made for car connoisseurs and book buffs alike. Or better yet, it is made for the car and literary-loving individual since it combines the two in a stunning shelf design; a retro Jaguar model has been converted to hold books in place of bodies.

Created by Dutch design studio Denieuwegeneratie for their Dutch Mountain house project, the Vintage Jaguar Bookcase spectacularly defies gravity. Rested on a wall length-side up, the Vintage Jaguar Bookcase balances on its trunk, which serves as a lower cabinet. The engine has been removed as well as a large rectangular section on the roof in order to lighten its load and accommodate a bunch of books.
