Victor Demarchelier's Show 'Creating Images' Opens in New York

‘Creating Images’ is the first New York solo show for photographer Victor Demarchelier. Demarchelier is famously the son of famed fashion photographer Patrick and ex-boyfriend of supermodel Caroline Trentini.

‘Creating Images’ includes very personal mostly black and white photographs, including many of a mostly nude Trentini. Victor Demarchelier’s work has been seen in Vogue Paris, Interview etc., but for this show Victor Demarchelier chose not to use much—if any—retouching because as he says, “I like when they’re rough. I don’t always spot them; that way they’re more like a piece of art. The accidents can be beautiful, too.”
