Pitched for Good Deals at the Social Innovation Generation (SiG) and the MaRS Discovery District’s 2011 Social Finance Forum in Toronto, Unstash is a start-up based on the idea of collaborative consumption. In essence, and as their tagline goes, the goal is to “make sharing simple.”
Through an innovative peer-to-peer platform, you can list your own stuff, borrow other people’s goods that are collecting dust in their basement and share the things you love with others.
Unstash is Toronto-based but hopes to spread throughout other urban areas. The social business will launch soon so it’s best to sign up to their invite list so that you’re ready to start sharing once this exciting projects gets off the ground.
