Twisted Digital Collages
Isabelle Lutter's Intriguing Art Pushes Intellectual Boundaries

By: Kateryna Topol (Potential) Jun 7, 11

Isabelle Lutter is a French illustrator producing both personal and editorial work for various publications including The New Yorker and Muze. Her unique art work goes through a number of production stages from painting and cutting to finalizing the collages digitally.

The subjects of the images are very intriguing. Each one has a thematic backbone and a load of physiological undertones. Regardless of the serious and challenging topics such as religion and politics, all of Isabelle Lutter’s images are vibrant and engaging. With every look, one will see something new and different in every image regardless of how many times it was looked at previously.

Her personal work is particularly intriguing. Unbound by guidelines and limitations, the subject matter pushes and often crosses emotional and intellectual boundaries.
