Children living in the United Kingdom’s Lake District National Park could become the most environmentally-friendly students in the world (without having to do anything) because many will be attending Elleray Preparatory School’s Treehouse School.
Designed and built by Robert Gaukroger of Kita Design Company, the Treehouse School comprises a set of green classrooms which stand on stilts nestled in the trees, and is built from recycled materials.
