Exposing Subway Projects
The Toronto ‘Confessions Underground’ Development is Liberati

By: Vivian Lau (Star) Jul 8, 12

Similar to the wildly popular ‘Post-Secret’ project, John Loercher and Laura Mendes have brought the Toronto ‘Confessions Underground’ project to a downtown subway near you.

The premise of the project is to allow people to publicly confess to something, anything to liberate themselves of whatever guilt or itching feeling they may have. Anyone may submit a 10-15 second video online or record one at the portable confession booth that tours Toronto, Montreal, Detroit and Chicago on different dates. The videos will be aired on display screens every ten minutes throughout the Toronto subway system, which sees about 1 million riders everyday. As made clear by the trailer, some confessions are funny while others are pretty serious. The risk is that you may be recognized by your friends, family, or even by passersby if you happen to be riding the subway that day.
