Thirsty veggies are now able to text message for water thanks to AgriHouse, the company marketing a high tech botanical gadget. A tiny microchip clipped on to the plant’s leaf allows farmers to receive notification of their carrot’s thirst via their cell phone.
Parched vegetables and ornamentals need constant monitoring for moisture, and with this innovative technology, growers can be connected to their crops at all times.
