Historical Figure Contribution Ads
These TED Ads Efficiently Show the Effect of Ideas

By: Kyle Towers (Star) Mar 30, 13
{SummaryTitle}

This series of TED ads is executed exceptionally well. It uses famous historical icons and displays how their ideas and visions inspired large masses of people.

The historical icons that are used in this TED ad include Martin Luther King, Evita and John Lennon. The concept is achieved by comparing statues of these great people to machines in a factory. As groups of people pass through the machine by way of conveyor built, they become better as a result. For example, after separate groups of black and white people pass through Martin Luther King’s head they become mixed together as one person.

This campaign speaks volumes of just what ideas can do to people and is in line with TED’s slogan of “Ideas worth spreading.”
