With a title like ‘Super Happy Times,’ these kooky greeting cards were either expected to be ridiculously enthusiastic or entirely ironic—fortunately, it’s the latter. Drawn by the ever-talented Jordan Metcalf, these graphic gifts are sure to leave their recipients in a chuckle fest with lines like “Happy Birthday or whatever” and images of cycloptic ‘80s dads.

What I admire most about these ‘Super Happy Times’ cards though is the zany cartoon characters which adorn the fronts of each card. The oblong proportions of the characters and their sometimes gruesome depictions really speaks to the inner child in me.
