Colorfully Looping Paintings
Still Point by Kirra Jamison is Abstractly and Playfully Childlike

{SummaryTitle}

The Still Point painting series may look like it is comprised of artworks that a kindergarten student scribbled with a paintbrush, but there is decidedly more rhyme and reason to each piece than first meets the eye. The loops are controlled and the colors deliberate, not to mention that the end result is so cohesively creative that it is hard to imagine a child painting the Still Point series.

But what will truly win people over is the sense of unfailing innocence and playfulness present in the Still Point series. Clearly Australian artist Kirra Jamison embraced her inner child when creating these abstract works of art. They are currently on display at Sophie Gannon Gallery, Melbourne.
