There is a futuristic element to the Stealth Pavilion that owes itself entirely to the inspiration behind the design. For those who haven’t guessed it yet, the divided form is modeled after the radar-reflective form of the F-117 Stealth fighter. Strong and masculine, which is a refreshing change from the often feminine qualities of such creations, the Stealth Pavilion both stands out and blends in.
Designed by Paul Segers, the Stealth Pavilion combats the coldness of its black exterior with the use of a warm wooden interior. In the center resides a fire pit that gives it a sense of intimacy despite being an open aired design. Interestingly, from above, the floor of the Stealth Pavilion appears like the hull of a ship. It is quite the sight.
