The new Starbucks Card Mobile App has you covered when you don’t have enough change to pay for a cup of joe. For coffee-lovers, this is breaking news as Starbucks has just recently announced that nearly 6,800 US stores will be accepting mobile payments.

iPhone, iPod Touch and Blackberry-users will be able to pay with the app’s virtual tender by simply pressing the “Touch to Pay” screen button. The phone must be held under the retail scanner and voila, your java is paid for in just one click. With the Starbucks Card Mobile App, I can now leave my clunky wallet at home.
