Flexible Furniture Designs
The Split Table by Tore Bleuze Can be Assembled in Different Ways

By: Meghan Young (Superstar) Jun 29, 13
{SummaryTitle}

At first glance, the Split Table looks very basic and minimalist. While this simple silhouette works for many modern settings, there is more to the design than first meets the eye. The Split Table is an entirely flexible piece of furniture that can take on different looks depending on how it is assembled.

Designed by Tore Bleuze, a designer based in Kortrijk, Belgium, the Split Table is made out of FSC labeled plywood. It requires no nails or glue to stay together. Instead, the flexible material comes together using an integral connection system. Whether linked through slots, tension bands or even puzzle-like cutouts, the Split Table is durable and strong.

A limited run of the Split Table has been produced. Only five numbered tables were manufactured. It can be purchased at De Invasie.
