Artist Sparks Creates Dangerously Irresistable Disguises

Sparks at Artfire is designing and conjuring up these mysteriously glamorous, handmade ornate Venetian masks. Combining mixed media in new and challenging ways, Sparks’ masks have all been created with contemporary clays. Each one is unique with embellishments, design and textural fibers; some were even custom-created for weddings.

Masks are becoming more popular for a variety of purposes. Traditionally used for centuries to hide the wearer’s identity or inhibitions, we are now seeing them in masquerades, non-traditional wedding attire or just for personal reasons.
