Pixelated Playing Cards
The 'Solitaire.exe' Deck Resembles Computer Gaming in the Dark Age

By: Michael Hemsworth (Superstar) Nov 20, 12
{SummaryTitle}

Playing card games on the computer is as old as computers themselves, which is why the ‘Solitaire.exe’ deck of cards will have fans of the retro game itching to play a hand.

The deck is designed by Evan Roth who has recreated the classic computer game exactly as it had appeared back in the day. Users may remember the hilariously pixelated images and the insatiable urge to play hand after hand, but you don’t have to have played the game to get a kick out of the awesomely outdated graphics that Roth used to create this sweet deck.

Printed on classic Bicycle brand playing cards, Solitaire.exe is created as a commission for the Copper-Hewitt, National Design Museum in New York. A mere 500 decks have been created, so get a pack before it’s game over.
