Smoke by Stefano Bonazzi is a series of photographs that feature nude people evaporating into a cloud of smoke. If the saying “you are what you eat” is true, then these models have been eating way too many cigarettes.

The photos were made with a mix of charcoal painting and photo editing to produce a blend of human and sultry smoke. Because the photos are in black and white, there exists a ghostly feeling almost as if the figures are passing on to another world by melting into smoky spirits. As the toxic vapor floats way, so does the life of the figure.

Smoke by Stefano Bonazzi is another wondrous example of how smoke can be used to create mystifying and miraculous artwork.
