Six Shot Six String is an unusual art piece. A blend between a weapon and a classical instrument, it may bring to mind a violin, but it hardly looks like one. Instead, it is an imagined musical instrument that serves a dual purpose.
Conceived and created by Canadian artist Maskull Lasserre, the Six Shot Six String art piece might be made out of the same materials as a violin, including wood, strings and corresponding hardware, but it has been tweaked in such a way as to allow a Smith & Wesson 357 Magnum revolver to fit in it. Lasserre writes that Six Shot Six String “resonates passively as a result of the shot.” This is an intriguing instrument to say the least.
