The Double Magazine 'Silent House' Photoshoot is Grungy

The Double Magazine Silent House editorial features model Hedvig Palm within a series of grungy, 1990s-style polaroids. Photographer Andrea Spotorno infused the production with her own sense of vintage chic direction, present in the forms of long ominous shadows and nude coloring.
Stylist Camille Bidault Waddington added to Spotorno’s 1990s allure with her ripped jeans, denim on denim ensembles, oversize leather coats and thick chunky heels. It was within these almost ironic pieces that Palm posed nonchalantly, learning up against barren walls, mattresses and used furniture sets. It it is in this way that Waddington and Spotorno have expressed their preference for a minimalist bare bones aesthetic, one that is of great appeal to Double Magazine’s young new aged readership.
