The Sidekick Stool has a fun name for a fun design. Nevertheless, because of its overall modern and sophisticated look, some may believe that the name is not a good fit. Considering that it is an understated piece with enough pizzaz to make a statement while blending into the background, the Sidekick Stool is aptly dubbed.
Designed by Timothy John, a furniture designer based in Mt. Maunganui, New Zealand, the Sidekick Stool was modeled after the silhouette of a glass science beaker. As though a 3D drawing of its form, the Sidekick Stool takes on a grid-like aesthetic that gives it a caged vibe. Coming complete with a large cork stopper, which acts the seat, the furniture piece is at once casual and stylish.
The Sidekick Stool was created for Thanks retail stores.
