This Shoe Cabinet by Osko+Deichmann is a brilliant storage system for those homes lacking in sufficient concealed space. It comprises a generous wardrobe for hanging coats and stashing scarves and hats but its lower half is what sets it apart from other freestanding cupboards.

A deep hinged drawer in the base of the closet has cubbies for collecting all types of footwear. This compartment is conveniently close to the floor so that you can practically kick your shoes right off and into it.
