{SummaryTitle}

Sports teams looking to monitor the health of their athletes are going to want to check out the Shockbox Helmet Sensor. The sensor is designed to record the data from collisions. It sends this data via Bluetooth (the sensor is compatible with iOS, Android and BlackBerry) to a smartphone running the free Shockbox app.

Depending on the severity of a collision, the Shockbox Helmet Sensor will recommend whether a not a player needs to leave a game to undergo a concussion test. The app guides the user through a checklist of concussion symptoms and even offers tests for the athlete to take. The sensor can be mounted to the inside of a helmet using a bit of tape, and one app can be used to track and store data from 128 different devices. The Shockbox Helmet Sensor currently sells for $149.99 per unit.
