Matthieu Belin's 'Sea Change Blanc' is Full of Hope and Promise

People don’t have to wait for winter to experience a white out, as exemplified by the Sea Change Blanc photo series.

Serene and surreal, this stunning photo shoot has more of a spring vibe to it. With a metamorphosis-like theme, the model in the shoot is seen breaking out of a sheer fabric cocoon, turning into the beautiful butterfly she has always been.

Shot by Shanghai-based fashion photographer Matthieu Belin, the Sea Change Blanc photo series shows that light and composition really shape the mood and message of a portfolio. Full of hope and promise, these captures also focus on freedom of movement, as the subject develops her freedom from her cocoon-covered home.
