Thus, Sculptural Poems keeps these important tomes intact while still creating unique works of art that comments on modern society, an appreciation for art in various forms and the idea of art expanding from its original state.

Sculptural Poems was created by Iceland-based poet, performer and visual artist Ragnhildur Jóhanns. Through this stunning series, Johanns shows how much physical books have become visual pieces of furniture since the introduction of e-books and e-readers. Yet the Sculptural Poems series shows this by paying tribute to these print publications rather than demeaning them in any way.
