{SummaryTitle}

The Rub View Camera is just a concept at the moment, but the possibilities is delivers are eye-openingly cutting-edge. The paper-thin piece of electronic equipment could deliver Polaroid-style prints in a much more convenient and accessible way.

Ji Ho Jung’s entry for the 2012 iF Design Talents enables you to snap any scene you desire with the effortless depression of a button on its side. A wide translucent screen displays the image that you’ve captured, doing so with a tangible ink rather than a digital one.

Simply place the Rub View Camera on a piece of paper and administer pressure and heat to the photo window as you stroke it. The photo will be transferred to whichever surface you’ve chosen to apply it, bringing scrap-booking and letter-writing into the 21st century.
